Fabric doll sewing kit, yellow hair and fair skin

The bright cheerful fabrics are organic cotton (organic cotton sateen for the pre-printed fabric panel and organic jersey for the hair) and the doll is filled with sheep’s wool.

I find creativity flows best when I’m holding something in my hands. So often these days we spend time looking at beautiful pictures of things other people have made and lose the ability to just start making. Once my hands are actually busy with needle and thread or a pencil and paper the creative ideas start to flow. With my sewing kits I want to give you that same creative feeling, giving you the tactile materials to touch, and simply start sewing.

As a fabric designer I enjoy the process of creating patterns that are meaningful to me, translating memories and special places into repeat and designing fabric that others can use to spark their own creativity. I use these fabric designs in all my kits, combined with solids blocks of colour and interesting hand-stitching details. Enjoy the process!
